by the way, if you restart the game after removing Jevus in normal, if you place another character where he was, that character triggers horror mode when removed
it's easily fixable: create a variable for the game to know if Jevus has been placed or not (I once had the same problem while working on A Musical Mishap)
maybe you clicked on the "X" (or bye) button, that's why
